NuMA (nuclear mitotic apparatus) 단백질은 세포주기 중 간기(interphase)와 유사분열기(mitosis)에서 모두 중요한 역할을 하는 긴 코일-코일 구조 단백질입니다.
간기 동안에는 핵골격(nucleoskeleton)의 구조적 역할을 하며, 핵의 조직화 및 기능에 관여하는 것으로 추정됩니다.
유사분열기 동안에는 방추체 미세소관의 조직화 및 염색체 위치 조정에 관여합니다.
