For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional round of desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The CD4 antigen is involved in recognition of MHC class II molecules and acts as a co-receptor for HIV. It is primarily expressed in T helper cells, but also found in monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, and various lymphoid tissues such as thymus, lymph nodes, tonsils, and spleen.
CD4 contributes to early T-cell activation via association with the T-cell receptor complex and protein tyrosine kinase Lck, and may mediate neuronal damage in immune-related CNS diseases.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcripts have been identified (RefSeq, July 2017).
