For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

RGS13 is the smallest member of the mammalian RGS (Regulators of G protein-signaling) family, homologous to yeast SST2 and C. elegans egl-10 proteins.
RGS proteins act as GTPase-activating proteins (GAPs) for Gα subunits, attenuating G protein-mediated signaling pathways.
RGS13 is highly expressed in human tonsil, thymus, lung, lymph node, and spleen, and regulates Gαi, Gαq, and Gαs coupled signaling cascades.
It blocks MAPK activity induced by Gαi- or Gαq-coupled receptors and attenuates GTPase-deficient Gαq (GαqQL)-mediated cAMP response element activation.
The human RGS13 gene is localized on chromosome 1q31.2.
