• Reconstitution: 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
• The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
• Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week.
• For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

EDG-3 (S1PR3) belongs to a family of G-protein coupled receptors whose ligands are lysophospholipids, specifically sphingosine-1-phosphate.
There are eight known members of the EDG receptor family, involved in:

• Cellular proliferation and differentiation
• Survival and suppression of apoptosis
• Cytoskeletal responses such as contraction, secretion, adhesion, and chemotaxis

EDG receptors are developmentally regulated, differ in tissue distribution, and couple to multiple G proteins to signal through Ras, MAP kinase, Rho, phospholipase C, and several protein tyrosine kinases.
EDG-3 is expressed in cardiovascular, leukocyte-containing, and other tissues.
