This antibody is specific for human FKBP8 protein.
BLAST analysis suggests partial cross-reactivity with mouse and rat FKBP8 based on ~93% sequence homology.
Cross-reactivity with FKBP8 from other species has not been determined.
Target Information
FKBP8 is a member of the immunophilin protein family involved in immunoregulation and cellular processes such as protein folding and trafficking.
Unlike other family members, FKBP8 does not exhibit PPIase/rotamase activity and may play a role in neurons associated with memory function.
