Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human MDC (CCL22). The anti-Human MDC (CCL22)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Human MDC (CCL22) matrix.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human MDC (CCL22) by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.5–2.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human MDC (CCL22) (500-P107Bt) as a detection antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human MDC (CCL22).

Western Blot:
To detect Human MDC (CCL22) by Western Blot analysis, this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. When used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human MDC (CCL22) is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

CCL22 may play a role in the trafficking of activated/effector T-lymphocytes to inflammatory sites and other aspects of activated T-lymphocyte physiology. It is chemotactic for monocytes, dendritic cells, and natural killer cells. CCL22 is a mild chemoattractant for primary activated T-lymphocytes and a potent chemoattractant for chronically activated T-lymphocytes, but has no chemotactic activity for neutrophils, eosinophils, or resting T-lymphocytes. It binds to CCR4.
