For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

PD-1 (Programmed cell death protein 1, also known as PDCD1) is an inhibitory receptor expressed on activated T cells. It plays a crucial role in downregulating immune responses by binding to its ligands PD-L1 and PD-L2 on antigen-presenting cells. This interaction suppresses T-cell activation in the absence of danger signals, maintaining immune homeostasis. PD-1 deficiency leads to hyperactive immune responses and autoimmune manifestations.
Although the predicted molecular weight of PD-1 is known, it often migrates at a higher molecular weight during SDS-PAGE analysis.
