Description:
The BV10A4H2 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD135 (also known as Flk2 or Flt3), a 135–150 kDa tyrosine kinase receptor expressed on multipotential progenitor cells, including primitive B cell and myelomonocytic progenitors in fetal liver and adult bone marrow.
Applications Reported:
Reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of REH cell line. Recommended use: 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test in a final 100 µL volume. Cell number should be determined empirically (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Target Information
FLT3 is a tyrosine protein kinase belonging to the growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase family. Activation occurs through ligand binding, inducing receptor dimerization and autophosphorylation. Activated FLT3 phosphorylates downstream effectors involved in apoptosis, proliferation, and differentiation of hematopoietic cells. Constitutive activation mutations are associated with acute myeloid and lymphoblastic leukemia.
