13A4 단클론 항체는 마우스 Prominin-1 (CD133, AC133)을 인식하는 항체로, 115–120 kDa 크기의 5-TM 도메인을 가진 당단백질입니다. Prominin-1은 조혈줄기세포, 신경 및 내피줄기세포, 망막 등에서 발현됩니다. 이 항체는 Rat, Human, Chicken, Drosophila에는 반응하지 않으며, Dog 시료에서 작동 보고가 있습니다.

Target Information
CD133 (AC133) 항원은 5개의 막관통 도메인을 가진 97 kDa 당단백질로, 당화로 인해 120 kDa 밴드로 검출됩니다. 미성숙 조혈줄기세포에서 발현되며, 신경 및 배아줄기세포 등 다양한 줄기세포 마커로 알려져 있습니다. 일부 백혈병, 뇌종양 등 줄기세포 유래 암에서도 발현됩니다. 낮은 수준의 발현은 신장, 췌장, 태반, 태아 간에서도 관찰됩니다. CD133 유전자 돌연변이는 망막색소변성과 Stargardt 병을 유발할 수 있으며, 여러 암 유형과 관련이 있습니다. 최소 5개의 대체 프로모터를 통해 조직 특이적으로 발현되며, 다양한 isoform을 생성합니다.
