IL4 Receptor alpha (IL4RA)는 인터루킨 4 및 인터루킨 13과 결합하여 IgE 생성, 케모카인 및 점액 생성 조절에 관여하는 인터루킨 4 수용체의 알파 사슬입니다. IL4 반응은 Th2 분화 촉진에 관여하며, IL4R alpha의 분비형 형태(sIL4R alpha)는 IL4 매개 세포 증식 및 T세포의 IL5 상향 조절을 억제할 수 있습니다. 신호 전달 능력은 없습니다. IL4RA 유전자의 대립유전자 변이는 알레르기 비염, 부비동염, 천식 또는 습진 등으로 나타나는 아토피와 관련이 있습니다.
