Target Information
TLR3 (Toll-like receptor 3, CD283)는 병원체 인식 및 선천 면역 활성화에 중요한 역할을 하는 TLR 패밀리 구성원입니다. TLR3는 바이러스 감염과 관련된 이중가닥 RNA(dsRNA)를 인식하며, NF-κB 및 Type I interferon 생성 경로를 활성화합니다.
주로 태반과 췌장에서 발현되며, 수지상세포 아형에 제한적으로 존재합니다. TLR3는 MyD88 대신 TRIF를 이용하여 신호 전달을 수행하며, IRF-3 및 NF-κB 활성화를 유도합니다.
최근 연구에 따르면 TLR3는 Influenza A 및 West Nile Virus와 같은 바이러스를 인식하고 숙주 방어에 관여합니다.
