Target Information
Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinases (CaM kinases)는 serine/threonine kinase 계열로, CaMKI, CaMKII, CaMKIV를 포함합니다.
CaMKII는 Ca2+와 calmodulin(CaM)에 의해 활성화되며, 세포 주기 및 전사 조절에 관여합니다.
CaMKII는 α, β, γ, δ 네 가지 isozyme으로 구성되며, 조직에 따라 함께 또는 독립적으로 발현됩니다.
CaMKII α는 Ca2+/CaM 복합체가 autoinhibitory domain에 결합할 때 Thr286에서 autophosphorylation을 겪으며, 이는 시냅스 정보 인코딩 과정에 관여하는 Ca2+/CaM trapping으로 알려져 있습니다.
