Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Protein kinases are enzymes that transfer phosphate groups from donors such as ATP to acceptor amino acids in substrate proteins. This phosphorylation process mediates signal transduction in eukaryotic cells, influencing metabolism, transcription, cell cycle progression, cytoskeletal dynamics, apoptosis, and differentiation.
The protein kinase family, with over 500 gene products, is among the largest in eukaryotes and is classified into eight major groups based on catalytic domain sequences. The STE group, homologous to yeast Sterile 7, 11, and 20 kinases, includes kinases associated with the MAPK cascade (Ste7/MAP2K, Ste11/MAP3K, Ste20/MAP4K). MAP kinase cascades are well characterized in the yeast pheromone response pathway, where pheromones activate MAPK signaling via Ste cell surface receptors.
