Product Specific Information
The H1.2F3 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD69, also known as very early activation antigen (VEA). CD69 (~35 kDa) is expressed as a disulfide-linked dimer on lymphocytes. Activation of both T and B cells rapidly upregulates CD69 surface expression, suggesting its role in lymphocyte development and activation.

- Recommended usage ≤ 0.5 µg per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)

Fluorochrome Information:
Super Bright 436 is excited by the violet laser (405 nm) and emits at 436 nm. Use a 450/50 bandpass filter or equivalent. Ensure instrument compatibility.
When using multiple Super Bright dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Target Information
CD69 (AIM, Active Inducer Molecule) is a gp28/34 disulfide-bonded homodimer (~60 kDa under non-reducing conditions). It contains N-linked oligosaccharides and is present on activated platelets. In normal peripheral blood, a variable percentage of cells express CD69, which is involved in lymphocyte signal transduction and proliferation. CD69 expression is induced upon T lymphocyte activation and may also transmit signals in NK cells and platelets. Alternative splicing produces multiple transcript variants.
Diseases associated with CD69 dysfunction include coccidiodomycosis and asthma.
