Target Information
Interleukin-4 (IL-4)은 활성화된 T 세포에서 생성되는 다기능 면역 조절 사이토카인으로, interleukin 4 receptor의 리간드로 작용합니다. IL-4는 가장 광범위한 생리적 작용을 가지며, IL13과 수용체를 공유하여 유사한 기능을 수행합니다. STAT6은 IL-4의 신호 전달에 중요한 역할을 하는 전사 인자입니다. IL-4 유전자는 IL-3, IL-5, IL-13, CSF2와 함께 염색체 5q의 사이토카인 유전자 클러스터에 위치하며, IL13과 인접해 있습니다. 또한 IL-4, IL13, IL5 유전자는 약 120 kb 범위의 장거리 조절 요소에 의해 조절됩니다. IL-4 delta 2는 알려진 splice variant입니다.
