Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen.
Purity is >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
RFPL1, RFPL2, and RFPL3 (ret finger protein-like 1, 2, and 3) form a gene cluster on human chromosome 22q12.2–q13.3, sharing 95–96% sequence identity.
These proteins are associated with neocortex organization and size in primates, showing high expression in fetal neocortex and embryonic stem-cell neurogenesis.
RFPL2 (also known as RNF79) encodes a 378-amino-acid protein, highly expressed in the prostate, with lower expression in fetal kidney and liver.
Two isoforms of RFPL2 exist due to alternative splicing.
