Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
The testis spermatocyte apoptosis-related gene 2 protein (TSARG2), also known as spermatogenesis associated-4 (SPATA4), is involved in spermatogenesis. TSARG2 is specifically expressed in spermatogonia and spermatocytes of the seminiferous tubules and localizes to the nucleus. The predicted molecular weight of TSARG2 varies depending on the species. It is significantly upregulated in cryptorchidism and is considered a testis-specific apoptosis candidate oncogene.
