For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The ASB2 protein belongs to the ankyrin repeat and SOCS box-containing (ASB) family.
It contains ankyrin repeat sequences and a SOCS box domain, which couples suppressor of cytokine signaling (SOCS) proteins and their partners with the elongin B and C complex, potentially targeting them for degradation.
Expression of this gene is induced by all-trans retinoic acid, and in myeloid leukemia cells, ASB2 expression has been linked to growth inhibition and chromatin condensation.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been reported, though their full-length sequences are not fully characterized.
