Target Information

Vasopressin V1B receptor (AVPR1B) expression has been documented in the pituitary, pituitary tumors, pheochromocytoma, breast cancer, and small-cell lung carcinomas.
G-protein Coupled Receptors (GPCRs) represent one of the largest families of signaling molecules, sharing a structural motif of seven membrane-spanning helices and existing in both active and inactive forms. Ligand binding induces conformational changes leading to G-protein signaling and downstream effects.
GPCR regulation mechanisms have significant physiological and pharmacological implications, contributing to the development of major GPCR-targeted drugs such as Zyprexa (Eli Lilly) and Claritin (Schering‑Plough).

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
