Target Information
TLK2 (Tousled-like kinase 2)는 핵 내 serine/threonine kinase로, chromatin assembly 조절에 관여하며 세포 내 신호전달, 단백질 인산화, 세포주기, chromatin 변형 및 DNA 손상 반응에도 참여함.
S기 동안 활성이 최대이며 DNA 복제 억제 시 TLK2 활성이 급격히 감소함. Ser-750에서 CHK1에 의해 인산화되어 불활성화될 수 있으며 TLK1과 heterodimer 형성. 태아 및 성체의 다양한 조직(태반, 간, 신장, 췌장, 심장, 골격근 등)에서 발현됨.
