- Predicted to react with mouse, rat, Drosophila, non-human primate, and rabbit based on sequence homology.
- Intact IgG appears on a non-reducing gel as a ~150 kDa band, and upon reduction generates ~25 kDa light chain and ~50 kDa heavy chain bands.
- Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits.

Target Information
MAP2K1 (MEK1) kinase is a dual-specificity protein kinase functioning in MAPK cascades, regulating cell growth and differentiation. It is activated by various growth factors, cytokines, membrane depolarization, and calcium influx. MEK1 activation occurs via phosphorylation of serine residues 218 and 222 by Raf1. It plays roles in stress response, apoptosis, and cytokine-induced proliferation. Mutations in MAP2K1 can lead to cardiofaciocutaneous syndrome.
