Target Information
EIF2a (Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2A)는 α, β, γ 세 개의 서브유닛으로 구성된 이형삼합체입니다.
이 인자(EIF2A)는 개시 메싸이오닐-tRNA를 40S 리보솜에 결합시켜 43S pre-initiation complex 형성을 유도합니다.
스트레스 반응에 의해 활성화된 단백질 키나제에 의해 인산화될 수 있으며, 인산화된 EIF2A는 EIF2B 활성을 억제하여 구아닌 뉴클레오타이드 교환을 방지합니다.
