Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The KEL gene encodes a type II transmembrane glycoprotein that represents the highly polymorphic Kell blood group antigen.
The Kell glycoprotein forms a disulfide bond with the XK membrane protein carrying the Kx antigen.
This protein shares sequence and structural similarity with the neprilysin (M13) family of zinc endopeptidases.
