Target Information
The Wilms Tumor 1 (WT1) gene encodes a WPP domain-interacting protein required for RanGAP nuclear envelope association in root tip cells. Ran GTPase is essential for processes such as nucleocytoplasmic transport, spindle formation, and nuclear envelope reassembly. WT1 and WIT2 are CC-TMD proteins necessary for RanGAP nuclear envelope association in higher plant and metazoan cells.
