Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The MKL1 protein interacts with myocardin, a transcription factor regulating smooth muscle cell differentiation. It is predominantly nuclear and may help transduce signals from the cytoskeleton to the nucleus.
This gene is involved in a translocation event that fuses MKL1 with the RNA-binding motif protein-15 gene, associated with acute megakaryocytic leukemia.
