Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, we recommend adding 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
GARS (Glycyl-tRNA synthetase) is one of the aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases that charge tRNAs with their cognate amino acids.
It forms an (α)₂ dimer and belongs to the class II family of tRNA synthetases.
GARS has been identified as a target of autoantibodies in autoimmune diseases such as polymyositis and dermatomyositis.
