Target Information
Type I Interferons (IFN-alpha/beta)는 바이러스 감염 시 자연 IFN 생성 세포(IPCs)에 의해 주로 생성되며, 숙주의 면역 반응의 일부로 작용합니다. 또한 종양의 발달을 억제할 수 있습니다.
IFN-beta 결합은 tyrosine kinase Jak1 및 Tyk2의 활성화를 유도하고, STAT 계열 전사 인자의 인산화를 통해 면역 반응 관련 유전자의 전사를 촉진합니다. 최근에는 toll-like receptor (TLR) 계열의 일부가 IFN-beta 생성을 자극하는 것으로 밝혀졌습니다.
IFN-beta는 현재 종양, 감염 및 다발성 경화증 치료에 임상적으로 사용되고 있습니다.
