Target Information
Type I Interferons (IFN-alpha/beta)는 바이러스 감염 시 Natural IFN-producing cells(IPCs)에 의해 생성되어 숙주의 면역 반응을 유도합니다. 또한 종양 발생을 억제하는 기능을 가지며, IFN-beta 결합은 Jak1 및 Tyk2 티로신 키나아제 활성화를 통해 STAT 전사인자들을 인산화시켜 면역 반응 유전자 발현을 유도합니다.
최근 연구에서는 toll-like receptor(TLR) 계열이 IFN-beta 생산을 자극하는 것으로 밝혀졌습니다. IFN-beta는 현재 종양, 감염 및 다발성 경화증 치료에 임상적으로 사용되고 있습니다.
