Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the PP2C family of Ser/Thr protein phosphatases, known as negative regulators of cell stress response pathways. PPM1G is responsible for dephosphorylation of pre-mRNA splicing factors, essential for forming functional spliceosomes. Mouse studies suggest a role in regulating cell cycle progression. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been described.
