Target Information
MAPKAPK5 (PRAK)는 세포 스트레스 및 염증성 사이토카인에 반응하여 활성화되는 세린/트레오닌 키나제 계열 단백질입니다. 이 효소의 활성은 p38 α 및 p38 β에 의해 조절되며, MAPK1/ERK, MAPK14/p38-α, MAPK11/p38-β 등의 MAP kinase에 의해 Thr182에서 인산화됩니다. In vitro에서 HSP27을 생리학적으로 중요한 부위에서 인산화하며, 두 가지 스플라이싱 변이체가 보고되어 있습니다.
