This antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
NR5A2 binds to the sequence element 5'-AACGACCGACCTTGAG-3' of the enhancer II region of hepatitis B virus genes, a critical cis-element for expression and regulation. It may be responsible for liver-specific enhancer II activity, likely in combination with other hepatocyte transcription factors. NR5A2 is a key regulator of cholesterol 7-alpha-hydroxylase gene (CYP7A) expression in the liver and may also contribute to the regulation of pancreas-specific genes and embryonic development.
