Product Specific Information
The HI30 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of human CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA). CD45 is expressed by all hematopoietic cells except circulating erythrocytes and platelets. It plays a critical role in lymphocyte activation via tyrosine phosphatase activity.

- Applications Tested: Pre-diluted for use at 5 µL (0.5 µg)/test with human peripheral blood cells
- Laser Compatibility: Violet laser (405 nm)

When using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies (e.g., Brilliant Violet™, Super Bright™), use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific interactions.
Light Sensitivity: Protect from light to avoid photo-induced oxidation.
Fixation: Compatible with IC Fixation Buffer (00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (00-5333-54) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark. Not compatible with methanol-based fixation.

Target Information
CD45 (LCA) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells, comprising ~10% of surface proteins in lymphocytes. It regulates T- and B-cell receptor signaling, cytokine receptor signaling, and integrin-mediated pathways. Multiple isoforms arise from alternative splicing and differ in extracellular domains.
