Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Antibody DNA sequences are cloned from immunoreactive rabbits, and individual clones are screened to select optimal production candidates.

Target Information

Histones are basic nuclear proteins responsible for nucleosome structure in eukaryotic chromatin. Two molecules of each core histone (H2A, H2B, H3, H4) form an octamer around which ~146 bp of DNA is wrapped, forming nucleosomes.
The linker histone H1 interacts with linker DNA to compact chromatin into higher-order structures.
This gene is intronless, encodes a histone family member, and is located in the large histone gene cluster on chromosome 6. Transcripts lack polyA tails and contain a palindromic termination element.
