The Fanconi anemia complementation group (FANC) includes FANCA, FANCB, FANCC, FANCD1 (BRCA2), FANCD2, FANCE, FANCF, FANCG, FANCI, FANCJ (BRIP1), FANCL, FANCM, and FANCN (PALB2).
Fanconi anemia is a genetically heterogeneous recessive disorder characterized by cytogenetic instability, hypersensitivity to DNA crosslinking agents, increased chromosomal breakage, and defective DNA repair.
FANCG is the protein for complementation group G, forming part of the common nuclear protein complex involved in DNA repair.
