Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The GCKR gene encodes a regulatory protein that inhibits glucokinase in liver and pancreatic islet cells by forming an inactive complex with the enzyme.
It belongs to the GCKR subfamily of the SIS (Sugar ISomerase) family and is considered a candidate susceptibility gene for a form of maturity-onset diabetes of the young (MODY).
