Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
EXD1 is an RNA-binding component of the PET complex, a multiprotein complex required for the processing of piRNAs during spermatogenesis.
The piRNA metabolic process represses transposable elements during meiosis by forming complexes with Piwi proteins, governing methylation and repression of transposable elements to maintain germline integrity.
Within the PET complex, EXD1 likely acts as an RNA adapter and is an inactive exonuclease.
