Target Information
CSF1R (FMS) is a tyrosine kinase transmembrane receptor involved in the production, differentiation, and function of macrophages. It plays a key role in hematopoietic precursor cell regulation and innate immunity. Ligand binding activates receptor kinase through oligomerization and transphosphorylation. Mutations in the CSF1R gene are associated with myeloid malignancies.
