Description:
The 93 monoclonal antibody reacts with an epitope shared by mouse CD16 and CD32. CD16 (FcγRIII) and CD32 (FcγRII) are low-affinity receptors for the mouse IgG Fc portion and are expressed by B cells, monocyte/macrophages, NK cells, and neutrophils.
Applications Reported:
- Flow cytometric analysis
- Blocking of Fc-mediated reactions in functional studies
Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. Recommended ≤0.5 µg per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number may vary from 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Antibody should be titrated for optimal performance.
Storage and Handling:
Use in sterile environment. Store at 4°C.
Filtration:
0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
Purity:
90%, determined by SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin Level:

Target Information
CD16 is a 50–65 kDa cell surface molecule existing in two forms: a transmembrane form (NK cells, some T cells) and a phosphatidylinositol-linked form (granulocytes). It serves as a low-affinity receptor for IgG (FcRIII) and mediates ADCC by NK cells.
CD32 is a 40 kDa glycoprotein acting as a low-affinity receptor for IgG (FcγRII). It mediates endocytosis, secretion activation, cytotoxicity, and immunomodulation. Expressed by B cells, monocytes, granulocytes, and platelets. CD32 participates in immune complex phagocytosis and B-cell antibody regulation. Genetic variations of CD32 may increase susceptibility to systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms are known.
