Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening individual clones to select optimal candidates.

Target Information
The transcription factor ATF-2 (CRE-BP1) binds to AP-1 and CRE DNA response elements and belongs to the ATF/CREB family of leucine zipper proteins.
ATF-2 interacts with viral oncoproteins and cellular tumor suppressors and is a target of the SAPK/JNK and p38 MAPK signaling pathways.
Cellular stresses such as genotoxic agents, inflammatory cytokines, and UV irradiation activate ATF-2 through phosphorylation at Thr69 and Thr71. Both SAPK and p38 MAPK phosphorylate ATF-2 at these sites in vitro and in transfected cells.
