Product Specific Information
- In ELISA, this antibody does not cross-react with recombinant human CCL2/MCP-1, CCL8/MCP-2, or CCL13/MCP-4.
- Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
MCP-3 (CCL7) is a secreted chemokine that attracts macrophages during inflammation and metastasis. It belongs to the C-C chemokine subfamily, characterized by two adjacent cysteine residues. MCP-3 is an in vivo substrate of matrix metalloproteinase 2 (MMP2), which degrades components of the extracellular matrix.
