• In ELISAs, no cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) IL-1α, -1β, -2, -3, -4, -5, -6, -7, -8, -9, rmIL-1α, -1β, -3, -4, -5, -6, -7, -9, or -13 is observed.
• Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
• Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.

Target Information

IL-15 (Interleukin 15) is a cytokine that regulates T and natural killer (NK) cell activation and proliferation. IL-15 and IL-2 share common receptor subunits and may compete for binding, influencing each other’s activity.
IL-15 induces JAK kinase activation and phosphorylation of transcription activators STAT3, STAT5, and STAT6. It may also enhance anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-xL expression, preventing apoptosis.
IL-15 is essential for immune cell growth and differentiation, including T and B lymphocytes, NK cells, macrophages, and monocytes. It plays key roles in immune responses, allograft rejection, and autoimmune disease pathogenesis.
Additionally, IL-15 is implicated in inflammatory disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and pulmonary inflammation, and may represent a potential therapeutic target.
