P73 (TP73)은 DNA 손상에 대한 세포의 아폽토시스 반응에 관여합니다. 전사활성화 도메인을 포함한 아이소폼은 세포사멸을 유도하며, 해당 도메인이 결여된 아이소폼은 항-아폽토시스 역할을 하여 p53 및 전사활성화형 p73 아이소폼의 기능을 억제합니다. 종양 억제 단백질로 작용할 수 있습니다.
