TSC2 (Tuberin, Tuberous sclerosis complex, TSC Complex Subunit 2)는 종양 억제 인자로서 세포 성장 정지 및 스테로이드 수용체 매개 전사 조절에 관여합니다. TSC2는 Hamartin과 세포질 복합체를 형성하며, Ser939 및 Thr1462의 인산화는 Hamartin과의 상호작용을 조절합니다. 다양한 성장 인자가 PI3K/Akt 경로를 통해 이 인산화를 자극합니다. TSC2는 RAP1A와 RAB5의 GTPase 활성을 촉진하여 세포 성장 조절에 기여하며, TSC2 유전자 변이는 림프관평활근종증 및 TSC2 관련 혈관근육지방종과 같은 질환과 관련됩니다. 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 세 가지 다른 TSC2 isoform이 생성됩니다.
