This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned, and individual clones are screened for optimal performance.

Target Information
The F11 gene encodes coagulation factor XI, a plasma zymogen that exists as a homodimer linked by disulfide bonds. Upon activation by factor XIIa, it becomes factor XIa, a serine protease that activates factor IX in the intrinsic coagulation pathway. Defects in this factor can lead to Rosenthal syndrome, a coagulation disorder.
