Antibody detects endogenous levels of MLK3 only when phosphorylated at Ser674.
Target Information
MAP3K11 (MLK3) is a serine/threonine kinase that activates both the p38 MAP kinase and c-Jun kinase pathways.
This kinase contains a SH3 domain and a leucine zipper-basic motif.
It preferentially activates MAPK8/JNK kinase and functions as a positive regulator of JNK signaling pathway.
MLK3 can directly phosphorylate and activate IkappaB kinase alpha and beta, and is involved in NF-kappaB transcription activity mediated by Rho family GTPases and CDC42.
