MA1-80430 inhibits neutrophil adhesion to E-selectin and to P-selectin.
Non-reducing conditions are recommended for Western blot applications.
A suggested positive control is human tonsil.
For FACS analysis, use 10 µL of the suggested working dilution to label 1×10^6 cells in 100 µL.
Mouse anti-Human CD62E/CD62P antibody, clone 1.2B6 recognizes the human CD62E and CD62P cell surface antigens.
Target Information
CD62E represents the 97 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein E-selectin (ELAM-1).
It is expressed on cytokine-stimulated endothelium, weakly on unactivated endothelium, and absent on leukocytes.
CD62E contributes to leukocyte rolling and adhesion on endothelial surfaces, essential for extravasation into tissues.
CD62P is a 140 kDa membrane glycoprotein (PADGEM/GMP-140), expressed on platelets, megakaryocytes, and epithelium.
It mediates adhesive interactions of neutrophils and monocytes with endothelium during inflammation and platelet activation.
The monoclonal antibody 1.2B6 recognizes a common epitope shared by CD62E and CD62P.
