A BLAST analysis suggests cross-reactivity with Alfalfa based on 100% sequence homology.
Cross-reactivity with Histone H4 [ac Lys12] from other sources has not been determined.

Target Information

Histones are basic nuclear proteins responsible for the nucleosome structure of chromosomal fibers in eukaryotes. Two molecules of each core histone (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4) form an octamer around which approximately 146 bp of DNA is wrapped in repeating units called nucleosomes. The linker histone H1 interacts with linker DNA between nucleosomes and functions in chromatin compaction.
This gene is intronless, encodes a histone H4 family member, and is part of the large histone gene cluster on chromosome 6. Transcripts lack polyA tails but contain a palindromic termination element.
