Target Information
VASH1 is a protein with actin binding and metallocarboxypeptidase activity. It participates in negative regulation of angiogenesis and endothelial cell migration, as well as proteolysis. VASH1 is localized in the apical part of the cell, endoplasmic reticulum, and extracellular space. It is associated with liver cirrhosis and portal hypertension, and serves as a biomarker for liver cirrhosis. Related diseases include Portal Hypertension and Congenital Myasthenic Syndrome 14.
