Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
COX3 is a multi-pass membrane protein belonging to the cytochrome c oxidase subunit 3 family.
Defects in COX3 are associated with:
- Leber hereditary optic neuropathy (LHON)
- Cytochrome c oxidase deficiency (COX deficiency)
- Mitochondrial encephalomyopathy with lactic acidosis and stroke-like episodes (MELAS)
- Recurrent myoglobinuria
