Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The Eph subfamily represents the largest group of receptor protein tyrosine kinases identified to date. While the biological activities of these receptors have yet to be fully determined, increasing evidence suggests their involvement in central nervous system function and development.
Human Eph receptors and their homologs include EphA1–A8 and EphB1–B6. Ligands for these receptors include ephrin-A and ephrin-B family members such as ephrin-A2 (Elf-1), which acts as a ligand for EphA4.
